| The 7-11 cycling team was a powerhouse team during the mid to late 1980s. The 7-11 team had most of the US stars in cycling riding for the team, at one time or another, and they won the first stage of a Tour de France by a North American (Alex Steida) and had many stage wins on the back of Davis Phinney and others. |
