| 1980 PEKA frame custombuilt by Peter Serier for son of Peperkamp shop employee.
The frame shows clever detailing, like for example the Peter Serier signature seat lug with additional horizontal slot under the clamp with two holes at the ends. There are 'PEKA' engravings on top crown and stay caps.
Built with Columbus SL tubing, Cinelli BB shell and Campagnolo 1010B fork ends and drop outs.
The bike is shown with aero style Nuovo Record levers. 1980 is pre aero era and there also have never been Nuovo Record aero levers. The by Peter modified levers were original spec with the bike. Peter put a lot effort in modifying the Nuovo Record brake levers, as well as getting the cables properly routed through the bars. I've been told it took four bars before he were happy with the result. |
