The Waldemar Scheeren OHG, from Berlin, Germany started its business with wooden, later aluminium alloy rims. Afterward stems and handlebars were added to their product line. They became well known for their wood filled rim models "Standard" and "Weltmeister", whereat the latter with only 220 gr. has been for a longtime the lightest rim available.
