General Information
This is a wider version of the Super record shifter, it came from a benotto 3000 from 83.
It looks like a friction lever, but actually it is a retro-friction/ratcheting style shifter.

Cost of these were considerably more than the standard Record shifter at the time, but was not as elegant looking as the newly introduced C-Record shifters of the time and were quietly discontinued after only a few years of production from about 83-85 or so.
