General Information
The depicted tire irons were collected over the years.  For the most part, tire irons were steel, but in the 70s and 80s, various bicycle shops like Specialized, Performance, Bike Nashbar, and others began selling hard plastic versions.  They were particularly nice because they were molded to snap fit together, making it very easy to carry in a saddle bag or tool pouch.
