Name:Holdsworth Metal Headbadge - 1970's
Brand:W.F. Holdsworth
Country:England
Years:1960's; 1970's
Found On:Vintage Lightweights
Additional Info:
From my 1973 Holdsworth "Professional" frame.

Holdsworth, W.F. Holdworth, Holdworthy and Worthy were all separate but somewhat related entities (very confusing) plus the company changed hands a number of times. These riveted metal head badges were used on the better models until around 1975 when they switched to decals.

See other head badges under W. F. Holdsworth listing.

Name:W.F. Holdsworth Competizone Headbadge
Brand:W.F. Holdsworth
Country:England
Years:1970's
Found On:Vintage Lightweights
Additional Info:
This is on my 1973 W.F. Holdsworth Competizone in team kit. This was a less expensive production model. These were "off the rack" frames that only came in standard sizes with no customization. They were "Built with good quality tubing" what ever that means. There are no Reynolds 531 decals on the bike.
