Additional Info:
This photo is from a mid-1950s Bertin racing bike. The headbadge is cast, painted and riveted. The approximate date is 1953-1956, based on the frame braze-ons for a Huret Louison Bobet rear derailleur and a Huret lever-action front derailleur. The lugset is Nervex Professional; the tubing is old-decal Vitus.

Additional Info:
Bertin didn't use the wrap around foil world champion colors band decals on the head tubes with some styles of their decals. This is my 1980 Bertin C37bis without the band. They also used some thicker aluminum head badges with adhesive on the back.

Brand:Bertin
Country:France
Years:1980's
Found On:Vintage Lightweights
Additional Info:
Bertin C79 SSC. This frame has a braze-on mount on the down tube for "aero" shift levers which would put it around 1982 to 1984. It probably came equipped with Shimano DuraAce AX aero components. It's a very light frame made of Reynolds 531SL tubing the predecessor to 531P Professional..

Name:Bertin Model Unkown - Reynolds 501 Tubes
Brand:Bertin
Country:France
Years:1990's
Found On:Vintage Lightweights
Additional Info:
This early 90's Bertin bike was listed on eBay. The frame is Reynolds 501 tubing with a Cinelli Air fork crown and Shimano semi horizontal dropouts. It has early 90's Shimano 105 components. Bertin stopped producing bikes somewhere around that time. This is the latest Bertin I've seen and would have been a higher end model.
