General Information
Early 1960 Anquetil frameset built with Reynolds 531 straight gauge tubing. Still in original paint and decals. Possibly built by Gitane using Anquetil's name after his 5th tour win in 1964. Frame probably dates to around 1965. The Reynolds sticker dates the frame to mid 1960's as this type of narrower width 531 sticker seems to have been phased out by the late 1960's. Frame has Campagnolo road dropouts and very basic non thinned production lugs. Obviously a standard production French frameset. I've never seen one in person till I found it this recently this year.
