At the beginning Øglænd Cyklelager was selling hengstberg German bikes (1892) and The World American ones. They start building their own bicycles under the brands Fram and Viking.
In 1932, Øglænd becomes DBS ("The Best Bicycle" ) In 1949 the first bikes are sold abroad. In 1972, a new factory is bought and all the facilities and offices are brought together in Kvål. Øglænd DBS A.S is sold to Monark in 1989 and after a few merges the only Norwegian bike Producer becomes in 1996 a part of Cycleurope, which produces bikes under the brands Monark, Crescent, Kildemoes, Gitane and Bianchi.
