This model from Simplex is a set of thumbshifters belonging to the manufacturer's Silver Range range of components, which is a mountain bike orientated part groupset. Most likely a one-off offering from this particular manufacturer, it being one known for very little else besides it's road/touring orientated kit- certainly, thumbshifters from them seem odd, and they don't resemble any of the 'thumbies' I've seen before:) They are clearly quality items though, incorporating a basic/early retro-friction mechanism as they do, and being nicely chrome finished/generally well made, so most probably more of interest to vintage tourer enthusiasts, rather than MTB'ers.
