Vicini Mario e Figli was founded in 1952 by former Champion of Italy Mario Vicini in 1952. The firm is still in business in his home town of Cesena despite the passing of Mario in late 1995. This headbadge is from a 1980s racing bicycle, and is engraved into the headtube then filled with gold paint. The frame has many engraved and filled details.
Cesena was also the birthplace of Marco Pantani, whose first good racing bicycle was a Vicini.
