Additional Info:
An old Dutch bicycle manufacturer with a typically byzantine corporate history, Gruno was founded in 1897.  Gruno became part of the Adek manufacturing combine in 1926.  It is not clear when the Gruno name  was discontinued, but 1968 seems likely.  Gruno was especially innovative, first applying the fixed dynamo for lighting and the expanding bolt for fixing the handlebar stem to the fork.
See also Stokvis a brand which was closely related to Gruno in the 1950s.

Guessing 1970's vintage.  From a road bike.

Second photo supplied by: paddythepeddler

An almost identical badge was used on my 1954 Hercules Kestrel Super Club, the difference being that it said "Birmingham' instead of 'Nottingham' at the base. That was of course before Hercules came under the Raleigh umbrella.
