| History |
Founded by Frank Bowden in 1888, a year after he purchased a small bike shop on Raleigh Street in Nottingham, England. By the early 20th century Raleigh was producing over 100 thousand bicycles yearly as well as motorcycles and even a 3-wheeled car.
