History
Santo started the business in the 1930s, alternating his work with nursing. After the war, his son Ubaldo followed in his father's footsteps, also working for two other bicycle manufacturers. In 1953, the Bombardieri family moved to the current location, and Ubaldo opened his own shop, Cicli Bombardieri Petosino. His passion for bicycles was later passed on to his grandson Stefano, who from an early age experimented with changing tires, inner tubes, brake cables, and gear shifters. In 1991, the family business was formed between Ubaldo and Stefano. In 1997, Ubaldo decided to retire and "Bombardieri Stefano bicycle repair, production, and sales" was founded. Today, Stefano continues the family tradition, with a keen eye for vintage bicycles, whether to restore them to their former glory or simply get them back into shape.
