This was a manditory purchase for everyone who rode sewup tires back in the day. They sold for about $1.25. The kit contained about 5 patches, a tube of cement, a card of linen thread with a sewing machine needle, a plastic thimble, a tiny pencil for marking the leak. and a small piece of way too coarse sandpaper. The X-Acto knife blade was my addition.
