| Production dateline established using a combination of the January 1971 Bicycling! magazine article Harlan wrote and the price lists that listed the Cosmopolitan as available only through about mid-1972.
John, Harlan's son shared that only 22 serially-numbered Cosmopolitan lug sets were cast, and that several had flaws making them unusable. He states "we figure no more than about 15" were built. |
