General Information
This one was made for Rainer Podlesch, to compete in the (Mexican) Olympic team Sprint of 1968. Podlesch fell off injured after the first run. Still, the West-german team managed to win a silver medal that year. The medal was only given to them one year later, as one (east german) referee had stated them to have cheated (, which the'y hadn't).
Rear triangle is made from tandem-tubing for increased stiffness.
Serial no. matches Podleschs date of birth.
Original paint wasn't existing anymore when I got it, so I initially went for some rattlecan paintjob. Will eventually restore to the original mid-blue somewhere in the future.
