Brand Directory
Country:ItalyPrimary Focus:Bicycle Frames
Years of Operation:1868 - 1970's
General Information
Rather common in the United States due to a number of high volume importers in the 50's and 60's, the Frejus brand was ridden by many US based cyclists in this time period.  Quality is usually fairly decent to mediocre, but a decent amount of value is associated with the name all the same, perhaps by cyclists who recall riding them in their earlier years.
History
Founded in Torino Italy by Emmo Ghelfi, later acquired by Emilio Bozzi and were produced in Milan along with Gegnano and Woolsit branded bicycles.  The name later became owned by Bianchi in the 1980's.
