After another review of the Campagnolo catalogs, we have at long last identified this post as a '95-97 era Record / Record Pista piece. 
The vertical 'Campagnolo' wording, while reminiscent of the Nuovo/Super Record brake levers, only appears in the mid to late '90s on the seat post. 
The 1996 spare parts catalog identifies the seat post model number for Record as the SP-10RE. 
There was also a Chorus version, the differences unknown, possibly only the model number / packaging.
