General Information
Early Uniglide 5 Speed Freehub and Cogs.  Splined, not threaded, to fit on a Shimano Splined Hub.  Uniglide has evenly spaced splines on the Freehub, as opposed to the later 'keyed' Hyperglide.  Outer ring (smallest) is threaded to secure the cogs to the hub.  Use 2 chain whips to remove outer cog, and remove entire cassette.  Inner 4 gears on cassette were held together with 3 "screws".  Even spacers separated the cogs.  Cone wrenches can remove the entire hub and cogs, or just the cassette can be removed.
Other pics show the front of the cassette with a locking 13 tooth cog, and spacer.
Back of cassette has one of the small screws removed for illustration.
See the file on the Uniglide Rear Wheel Hub that is the match for this Freehub.

Details:   The Shimano 600EX groupset was made in a multitude of variations and generations.  Often, more than one variation was being produced at the same time.  Included in the Shimano 600EX groupsets is the easily recognizable Arabesque group with detailed engravings and designs.  The 600EX group went from friction shifting at its introduction, to 6 speed SIS shifting later in the 1980's.
