Machined aluminum blocks used to remove dents and creases from frame tubes. By greasing the damaged tube, placing the block over the damaged area and slowly clamping in a bench vise while rotating the tube in the block many dents and other damage can be removed or reduced. The blocks are available in 1", 1-1/8" and 1-1/4" sizes.
N.B. the paint, if any, is usually damaged during the repair process. |
